Szeged (Hungary), 20th May 2010: How to protect what I created?

The Hungarian Patent Office (HPO), in the framework of the IPeuropAware project, in cooperation with Szeged University PATLIB Center, Chamber of Commerce and Industry Csongrád County, and Progress Foundation, is organising the seminar “How tcan I protect what I created?” to be held in Szeged (Hungary), on 20th May 2010.

To help SMEs make use of the wide range of instruments available to protect intellectual property, the EU-funded project “IPeuropAware – IP Awareness and Enforcement: Modular Based Actions for SMEs” has developed guides for industries that are particularly hard hit by counterfeiting (textiles, furniture, leather goods and shoes). The aim of this event is to present the integrated Hungarian version of this guide (it will be presented) and to explain the role of the IPeuropAware project. In addition, HPO, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Progress Foundation will present their support services and activities. The Hungarian version of IP PANORAMATM information package will also be presented. Representatives from innovative SMEs will present their good practices on IPR.

The event will be held in Hungarian. It is free of charge, but registration is obligatory.
