Frankfurt (Germany), 13th February 2010: “IPR protection for SMEs”

Messe Frankfurt GmbH, the Enterprise Europe Network in Hesse and the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, as part of “IPeuropAware”, organised the seminar “IPR protection for SMEs” to be held in Frankfurt (Germany) on 13th February 2010.

To help SMEs make use of the wide range of instruments that are available to protect intellectual property, the EU-funded project “IPeuropAware – IP Awareness and Enforcement: Modular Based Actions for SMEs”, has developed manuals for industries that are particularly hard hit by counterfeiting (textiles, furniture, leather goods and shoes) to help them with strategies to combat intellectual property right infringement resulting from brand and product piracy. The aim of this event is to present these manuals, but it will also include presentations that will give attendees a unique opportunity to obtain a comprehensive overview of the possibilities available to protect your brands and products in Europe and China, including the enforcement of your intellectual property rights.
