Brussels (Belgium), 27th of April 2009: Making IPR work for SMEs

The European Commission (DG Enterprise and Industry) is organising a conference on "Making Intellectual Property Right work for Small and Medium Enterprises" to be held in Brussels (Belgium) on 27th April 2009.

The event aims to identify the challenges for businesses and governments to develop better support measures in the IPR field to help SMEs optimise their creative and innovative potential and defend their assets against counterfeiting and piracy. About 400 European and national policy makers, enforcement practitioners, innovation support organisations and SMEs are expected to ensure a lively and practice-oriented conference.
