Patents
The Irish Patents Office online patents register and database search system permits free and unlimited access to the Office's patent register and databases. The system enables access to the Patent Register and Databases, which contain detailed information about specific published patents, and the Supplementary Protection Certificate (SPC) Database, which relates specifically to SPC applications. The system, allows users to find and browse particular entries with a minimum of effort. The online registers and databases are updated on a daily basis, and therefore enable web access to an extensive repository of data concerning patents. The search system also features navigational aids and help menus for user guidance.
The system also provides convenient links to various International IP offices such as the European Patent Office (EPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO).
